Will News / Re: 606 Club 15 September - It is being FILMED!!
« on: September 15, 2016, 11:24:47 PM »
Loving the recordings, thankyou.

I recognised a few backs of heads in the audience ;) The only one face-on to the camera seems to be Carol in not such a good seat. I was in a similar position on the other side of the stage and possibly a little further back when I went. Most of my view was blocked by Dave Tench and the only way I could catch a glimpse of Will was to lay my head down on the table turned towards the stage. I had a terrible crick in my neck and awful backache but it was worth every moment of pain to hear that amazing voice and Will being every bit as funny as any stand-up comedian. A brilliant evening.

So looking forward to all the reports and  :crossedfingers: hopefully a DVD.

Only just seen this! I loved seeing Will at the 606 and have always wanted to repeat the experience (though perhaps with a better seat than I had last time). In spite of the expensive ticket I might have stretched to that (after all he is worth it!), but by the time I factor in the train fare from Shropshire and possibly accommodation for the night it's just too much :happycrying: I think from now on the only time I will get to see Will live is when he does Birmingham as it's a doable distance for me.

I hope all that go will have a wonderful time and will write detailed reports for us sad stay-at-homes :happy5:

I haven't had a quiet time to watch the interview yet and in some ways I'm dreading it after reading this thread. I hope I don't find it too distressing. Fortunately my children, who have all had to deal with some very dark times, have all coped well and I have admired their strength of character that has seen them through, but as I see Will almost as an extra son, if he hurts I hurt. He is so loved by all of us and I hope our support sees him through his bad times.

Will was adorable as usual, and I loved the way the whole audience were smiling when he was introduced - they all looked as lovestruck as we are! What a strange programme it is though! It's the first time I've watched it and it wasn't what I was expecting at all - I thought the guest celebrities would be out 'in the field' watching wildlife, studying them in their natural habitat and perhaps even handling them, perhaps helping to ring birds and such. With Will's natural affinity with animals it would have been lovely to witness. I'm sure he would have loved that too.
On a shallow note it was great to see 'the body', and didn't his legs look gorgeous? :lovedup2:

Oh dear, the sun is shining, there was weeding to be done, so I missed this completely :( Have just come on here while I have lunch and found out about it.

I sent a link to my son asking what he thought of it, not mentioning Will. I just said I thought it sounded very like David Bowie, but it's not him. Mystery singer. His response was 'Quite nice. Has he been on holiday to Ibiza?' He hasn't said if he has guessed who it is but I would imagine he has - he knows who I love :laughing1:

Will News / Re: Will on Lorraine on 26th- 8.30AM

Awww, lovely to see Will again (but please ditch that hairstyle!)

Great news about the EP, especially with it being some jazz covers - great memories of 606, I hope.

Lorraine seems a lovely friendly person and Will obviously gets on well with her but I'd rather have someone else interview him as most of the time I can't understand a word she's saying so it's a bit like listening to one side of a telephone conversation.

Thanks so much, Carol. Love it when he's in slapstick mode! Just hope none of his critics think it was a genuine strop ::)

It's an absolute Joy for me to do my shopping in my local Morrisons these days as they play it repeatedly. I notice many shoppers singing along with a spring in their step!

I assume this will be televised  :crossedfingers:

I feel we will really see Will's competitive streak on this. Wish I could go to cheer him on.

I laughed out loud when Will whipped away the tea towel that Paul was leaning on at the edge of the worktop. The look on Paul's face was classic  Huh, what was that!!' Also as the judges walked away Sarah said 'We love you, Will' - seems to be the response from most presenters when he is on their shows. No getting away from it, he really is so lovable. :happy1: :lovedup1:

Thankyou so much for the pics and videos - so good!

I've struggled to keep up with all the Will-news lately, so busy with the house restoration, but just had to have a peep at this thread :laughing1: It's funny, I used to get upset at the time of PI when people used to compare Will to The Joker in rather a derogatory way, referring to his rather large mouth. Now he is being lauded for being a rather fabulous Joker, so he is having the last laugh :happy2:

Will News / Re: Lancashire Symphony At The Tower

I really fancy going to The Tower but looking at the map it seems to be in the middle of the countryside so I'm not sure how I'd get there by public transport. I don't like driving in unknown territory :-[ Maybe there will be something closer announced later.

Will News / Re: What The World Needs Now Is Love
« on: November 21, 2015, 12:00:34 AM »
Just managed to view the video - amazing! Will's voice sounds so good, for some reason it made me think of warm chocolate :) Although the song is so familiar Will has still managed to make it sound so different to any other recording of it. Beautiful! We could certainly do with a lot more love in this world, both for the animals and for mankind. Sad times :(

Well, I think I have pre-ordered but not to sure, it wasn't very informative. Just have to wait and see if it arrives on my iPad on release day.
